You will be focused on securing a client relationship where the client feels supported at all times by providing advice and recommendations in alignment with client requirements.This is a fully remote position; however, to be considered candidates must be licensed and currently live in California.The Account Service Division (ASD) at BenefitMall partners with brokers to manage existing books of business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in small group benefits, preferably with a broker background. Skills required to be successful in this position are managing a high volume of business, strong multitasking and organizational skills, excellent communicator who collaborates well in a team environment, enjoys relationship-building, and the ability to adapt to change and adopt technology in a fast-growing organization. Work with Account Executive to manage renewals.

Build and maintain client and carrier relationships.

Act as the primary contact between clients, internal operations, and insurance carriers.

Provide insurance expertise to clients and act as a knowledge resource for other members of the Account Management team.

Help teammates resolve client issues.

Educate, advise and aid clients on all Compliance topics such as, but not limited to, ERISA, POP, Cobra, FMLA.

Review and deliver benefit booklets.

Develop employee communications for renewal changes, enrollment procedures, miscellaneous benefit changes/clarifications.

Serve as a source for information concerning market trends, pricing practices and other underwriting policies.

Delegates work to support staff where applicable.

Provides guidance to support staff where appropriate.

Enroll clients in Employee Benefits communication tools. Demonstrate use of the tools with clients. Introduce.

Conduct virtual and in person meetings to communicate or administer benefit plans.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Associate degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Active life and health insurance license.

5+ years of experience in employee benefits in the small to mid-market space.

Broker experience preferred.

Excellent digital literacy, including working experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.

Be able to set priorities and manage deadlines.

Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to define problems and generate potential solutions.

Keep informed about industry information, technology and trends.

Establish good rapport with clients and teammates.

The annual base salary for this position is $58,000 - $60,000.General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
