Serving Volusia, Seminole and Orange County

Seeking experienced painters for daily paint operations on interior and exterior residential repaints and light commercial work. Must have experience in painting with various tools and in various heights and spaces while observing all safety measures. Must be reliable and deft as well as possess great attention to detail in completing their duties. The goal is to deliver high-quality painting work.

Responsibilities

Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.

Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.

Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material

Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture

Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools, spray equipment, etc.

Apply varnish, epoxies and other finishes

Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions.

Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.

Inspect job site and ensure areas are clean

Skills

Looking for someone with experience but willing to train the right individual

Excellent knowledge and understanding of coatings, proper preparation and application

Must be willing to learn and commit to our approach on paint procedures

Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)

Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.

Conscientious with great attention to detail

Able to work in a highly active physical environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Start Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience
