JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIANS NEEDED
$50 - $60 per hour plus benefits. Experienced Journeyman Electrician needed for local electrical company in Yakima WA. We are a growing full service electrical company that has a positive, fun, work environment with excellent opportunities. We specialize in New Construction Industrial, commercial, healthcare facilities and provide service work as well. We offer PTO, Medical, Dental, Eye, 401K after initial 3 month probation period.
-Prior experience in a similar field or setting is REQUIRED.
-Aptitude testing for Code, Theory and Blueprint reading is required for employment consideration.
-5 or more years prior experience directly working in commercial and industrial fields is REQUIRED.
-Our ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, a positive attitude, the ability to prioritize
the tasks given to you and will be punctual and reliable. The schedule is Monday- Friday 7am to 3:30pm but could vary
depending upon workload.
The Journeyman Electrician primary responsibilities are the following:
-Must know the electrical codes.
-Must be able to troubleshoot electrical circuits in a short time period.
-Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams and PLC wiring diagrams.
-Install electrical conduit, boxes, conductors, fixtures, panels, and service equipment.
-Fabricate and wire custom control panels.
-Work Truck Cleanliness, parts and tool truck inventory.
-Travel is sometimes required as well as overnight stays.
-Compile safety meeting topic list each week for crew.
-Current Drivers License and CLEAN DRIVING RECORD IS REQUIRD.
-Current Washington State Journeyman License is REQUIRED.
-Must have POSITIVE attitude and work well with team members.
