Req Number 122265Job DescriptionPlans, organizes and provides oversight and accountability for Information Systems services and activities. Acts as Information Systems point person for assigned site. Builds and maintains site-specific plan and ensures alignment between Health System IT (OCIO) plan and the site. Participates in facility-level technology strategy decisions of enterprise clinical information systems. Ensures technology decisions and deployments support strategic, clinical, financial and operational goal.Job Responsibility

Leads the site planning process, analyzes key business initiatives and information needs which support, influence and transform business operations and strategy.

Collaborates with Leadership to ensure business plan is aligned with Enterprise plan.

Develops strategic goals, objectives and plans. Provides leadership and management in executing the strategy.

Communicates Information Technology's vision, goals and objectives, and efficiencies related to execution and implementation of information system solutions to site leadership.

Provides leadership in defining the process and service levels delivered to sites. Ensures service levels are accurate and meet site needs.

Facilitates both internal and external relationships with executives, administration, physicians, and key strategic vendors.

Participates in capital and operating budget preparation and demand management related to all IT requests.

Reviews monitoring reports to ensure actual and budget are on target.

Collaborates with business sponsor and other key members of the OCIO to define the return on investment (ROI) and projected post implementation review and analysis, ensuring cost effective investments have been made.

Oversee the successful completion of all IT Capital approved and funded projects.

Ensures IT maintains the infrastructure, network, key critical clinical and non-clinical applications, desktop support and proper disaster recovery procedure.

Participates in applicable education/meetings to support site needs.

Provides leadership and knowledge to maintain an accurate Application Inventory which is understood, communicated and supported.

Leverages information systems to optimize workflows, improve clinical performance and outcomes and leads efforts to achieve clinical, financial and operational improvement.

Participates in enterprise design activities and collaborates with OCIO and clinicians to design and implement new applications ensuring integration and data sharing capabilities, including HIE and ACO initiatives.

Liaises with physicians and advanced care practitioners to develop partnerships and methodologies for interoperability and data reporting.

Job Qualification

Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
