Swimming Pool Service Technician

Pool World is looking to hire full time seasonal pool technicians in our Burlington location for the 2024 season. Pool service experience and/or basic knowledge of plumbing or HVAC is preferred but is not required as there are many on-the-job training opportunities. Hired individuals will be placed with a lead technician to help with every aspect of pool service including but not limited to:

DUTIES:

Opening and Closing of swimming pools

Installing new pool equipment

Diagnosing and repairing pool equipment, plumbing lines and more

Perform routine pool maintenance

Other duties as assigned

IDEAL CANDIDATES SHOULD:

Be motivated, responsible, punctual & dependable

Possess a valid, clean drivers license

Be willing and able to work outdoors in all weather (rain or shine)

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs on a regular basis

35 – 40+ hours a week with all hours over 40 paid at time and a half.

Job Type: Full-time year round or Seasonal (both positions available)

Salary: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
