RAM3N is a new and exciting restaurant in which cooks will prep and prepare classic and modern Ramen dishes. Our goal is to bring Asian flair and flavored dishes to the heart of downtown Castle Rock. The Line Cook team member will prepare menu ingredients, execute dishes, assist with daily operations of the restaurant, provide guest service, and other items as directed by senior culinary staff. Our restaurant is an open concept kitchen which will allow you to interface with your team as well as guests during the shift. Excellent communication skills and a great attitude will ensure your success on the RAM3N team!

Responsibilities:

1. Food Preparation:

Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.

Prepare dish components on the menu to include chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.

Maintain a clean and tidy work area.

Follow proper procedures to ensure food preparation and storage meet health and safety standards as directed.

Clean prep area and restaurant area as directed.

Assist with stocking inventory and supplies.

Prepare menu items with the support of the Head Chef.

Follow Head Chef directions related to food preparation and execution, guest service expectations, and safety.

2. Customer Service

Ensure guest satisfaction with every interaction.

Assist with guest questions related to menu items and ordering.

Communicate professionally and courteously with the team and guests.

Perform other tasks as requested.

Job Requirements and Skills:

Previous food service industry experience preferred.

Understanding of or the ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety to ensure food safety standards are met.

Understanding of or the ability to learn food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.

Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.

Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

Ability to work well as part of a team.

Ability to maintain personal hygiene.

Able to multitask and read recipes proficiently.

Fun and positive attitude.

Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Physical Requirements:

Medium work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently)

Standing and working on feet for prolonged hours.

Work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.

Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.

Salary Range: $19.00-$23.00 per hour based on previous experience.
