Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a diligent and proactive individual to join our team as a Water Damage Assistant. The ideal candidate will assist our Lead Technicians in the restoration process following water damage incidents, supporting our efforts to restore properties to their pre-loss condition efficiently and effectively.

The hours required are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime. We are located in San Juan Capistrano and you are required to leave from the office each morning and come back to the office when your shift ends.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes at affected properties.

Support in the removal and disposal of damaged materials such as flooring, drywall, and insulation.

Aid in the cleaning and sanitization of affected areas to prevent mold growth and ensure a safe environment.

Assist technicians with equipment setup, monitoring, and maintenance.

Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of yourself and team members.

Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates on project progress.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in water damage restoration or a related construction field is preferred but not required.

Ability to lift heavy objects consistently and work in physically demanding environments.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to pass a background check

This is a physically demanding position that will be paid based on experience. This is not a temp-to-hire position. The hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with occasional overtime, Monday through Friday.
