JOB DESCRIPTION

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of quality control processes and ensuring a smooth transition for current and new team members. This dual role combines managerial and field responsibilities, requiring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate.

The Quality Assurance Manager must exhibit high emotional intelligence and empathy skills. Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills to find workable solutions for challenges and issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

IMPORTANT: Flexibility and open availability are requested. The employee is expected to fill in for call outs and open positions when necessary, serving the Lompoc and Santa Maria areas. The employee will report directly to the Director.

Customer service and communication skills with the ability to maintain a friendly and positive demeanor while interacting with clients and their families.

Monitor all aspects of quality assurance, including staff and participant communications, all documentation.

Ensuring documentation is accurate. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of field activities. Prepare reports for management on program progress and issues.

Ability to de-escalate and maintain a positive, goal-driven teaming relationship and to ensure quality of service for the participant.

Adhere to timelines for yourself and staff.

Must demonstrate the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.

Ensure regular site visits are conducted. Assess service quality and compliance with standards. Address any issues or concerns promptly and efficiently.

Build and maintain positive relationships with participants and their families. Ensure that client needs are met and that they receive high-quality support.

Compliance and Safety: Promote a safe and healthy work environment for staff and clients.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to speak and listen.

Frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands.

Occasionally required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Ability to travel to various locations as needed.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule for this position is as needed, shifts vary depending on participants availability and need.
