CNA or Nurse Aide/Home Care for Hospice patients

Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) and Nurse Aides are now being hired for home care day shifts and all weekend shifts to work with patients enrolled in Hospice. These assignments require experienced, compassionate caregivers who have prior experience with end-of-life care. Clients may still be ambulatory or bedridden. Shifts are with Moon River Senior Care and are located in Ashburn, VA.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct support and care to individuals in their homes

- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals

- Assist with basic meal preparation and feeding

- Assist with daily tasks

- Provide companionship and support - Understand that it is a privilege to provide care at this important time in your patient's

Show sensitivity to involved family members

Experience:

- Minimum of two years experience as a CNA or Nurse Aide

Skills:

- Compassionate and kind demeanor

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to follow instructions

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to adapt to changing needs and situations
