Master Technician - Ray Skillman Kia

Responsibilities and Duties:

-Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards

-Perform advanced removal and replacement and diagnostic work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy

-Diagnose the cause of most malfunctions and performs repair

-Check parts against estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received

-Notify management of any additional repairs needed

-Notify management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time

-Acquire and maintain manufacturer certification

-Maintain and wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer

-Keep the shop area clean and neat

-Qualifications and Experience:

-3+ years of Automotive Technician experience

-Advanced automotive maintenance, diagnostic and removal/replacement skills

-Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and best practices

-Familiarity with automotive schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals

-Valid Driver’s License with good driver's record
