Job Title: Beach Attendant/Security
Reports To: Association Manager, Assistant Manager
Compensation: Hourly $25
Position Type: Seasonal, Part-Time (30 hrs a week) May 20th - Labor Day Weekend
Location: Tahoe City, CA 96145
The Beach Attendant/Security rotates through 3 areas which includes:
Patrolling the beach to enforce rules and maintain cleanliness, checking in members and guests at the beach entrance, and nighttime monitoring of the beach.
Key Responsibilities:
Beach Entrance Management
Efficiently monitor beach entrance for members and their guests.
Check member passes and access using computer scanning.
Assist Gate Hosts with member needs.
Beach Patrolling and Rule Enforcement
Patrol the beach premises to enforce rules and regulations.
Maintain a visible presence on the beach to deter rule violations.
Remove trespassers and individuals who do not meet entry requirements.
Incident Logging and Reporting
Maintain detailed logs of all security-related incidents, including rule violations and any disruptive behaviors.
Report incidents promptly to higher authorities and follow established protocols.
Maintain Facilities
Clean restrooms and empty trash at the beach and lower tennis courts.
Wash upper and lower tennis courts once a week.
Membership Assistance
Assist members with their kayaks, paddleboards, and other requests.
Assist with special events
Requirements:
Excellent customer service skills: The ability to provide exceptional service to our members and guests is top priority
Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older to be eligible for this position.
Communication Skills: Proficient in both written and oral communication to interact effectively with members and colleagues.
Physical Fitness: Capable of performing continuous physical exertion, including patrolling the beach and intervening when necessary to enforce rules.
Must be able to work holidays and night shifts.
Additional Information
This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, and it requires standing and walking for extended periods.
Shifts will rotate through two designated areas of the beach daily, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the premises.
Training will be provided to familiarize the successful candidate with all relevant security procedures and protocols.
The Dollar Point Association is a non-profit Recreation organization of homeowners who own homes or property in Dollar Point. Located just east of Tahoe City, Dollar Point is situated on Lake Tahoe's beautiful north shore.
We are looking for 1 part time employee to work 30 hrs a week.
