Learn more about working with ushere (https://www.healthykidsprograms.com/workwithus) Reports To:Director of Buildings, Grounds, and MaintenancePay:$22-$28 per hourFLSA Status: Non-ExemptSchedule: Full-time, on callLocation:Wyoming and Seneca Counties, NYSHealthy Kids is looking for an experienced, skilled, detail-oriented, self-starter to occupy the position of Maintenance Lead/Rental Supervisor.The position is responsible for the upkeep of Healthy Kids Programs Buildings including preventative maintenance, repairs, renovations, and on-call work. The position will also be responsible for the renovation of our Genesee Falls location, to be converted into an AirBNB. The position will then be responsible for running the AirBNB.This position is based at our childcare center at 6640 Pike Street Portageville, NY.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.

Performing preventative maintenance.

Handling basic repairs and maintenance.

Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.

Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.

Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.

Renovation work

Conducting jobs that include painting, light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, Framing, Mudding, Landscaping, and all other skills required for the maintenance and renovation of buildings and grounds

Mowing and Snow Removal required

RequirementsQualifications:? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.? Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.? High school diploma or general education degree (GED).? Related degree from a technical college.? Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.? Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.? Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.? Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.? Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.? Experience performing routine maintenance.? Strong organizational and follow-up skills.? Eye for detail.? Professional presentation and attitude.? Ability to maintain focus while working individually.? Strong time management skills.Education/Experience:? At least 5 years of experience in property maintenance or a similar field? Associate degree preferred? Experience with making locks and setting up security cameras and internet cablingpreferred? Experience with heavy machinery preferred? Experience driving box trucks preferredLanguage Ability:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate effectively with all third-party payer representatives as well as internalstaff members including program staff.Reasoning Ability:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
