TRAILER TECHNICIAN-HEAVY DUTY
NW Fleet currently has 2 full-time openings for experienced heavy-duty trailer technicians at our Fife shop location. A minimum of one-year of experience as a heavy-duty trailer mechanic is required.
Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on semi-trailers and dollies.
Troubleshoot and work with air brakes, ABS, suspensions, and electrical systems.
Perform welding and fabrication on steel, stainless, and aluminum.
Complete all body repairs on semi-trailers including repairing or replacing side panels, roofs, headers, and frame rails.
Repair and replace roll-up doors and swing doors.
Maintain daily work records on all repairs performed.
Have good communication skills and be able to work independently and as a team member.
