Job Description:

As a Rental Vehicle Maintenance Worker at our Juneau, Alaska location, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of our rental fleet. Working closely with our front desk team, you will assist in maintaining and cleaning vehicles to ensure they meet Hertz's high standards of quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify and address any mechanical or cosmetic issues.

Wash, clean, and detail rental vehicles to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.

Assist in coordinating vehicle pick-up and drop-off for scheduled maintenance and repairs.

Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including service logs and repair reports.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the maintenance shop area.

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

Communicate effectively with management regarding maintenance needs, inventory levels, and equipment status.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
