We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Check Cashing Teller.

Responsibilities:

Cashing Checks: Process check transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies and procedures. Verify identification and ensure proper endorsement on all checks.

Printing Money Orders: Assist customers in obtaining money orders, printing them accurately, and providing necessary documentation as required.

Bill Payment Services: Facilitate bill payments for customers, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of transactions. Provide assistance and guidance to customers with bill payment inquiries.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience at all times.

Bilingual Communication: Fluent in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base. Assist Spanish-speaking customers with their financial needs.

Maintaining Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies regarding financial transactions and customer confidentiality.

Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and securely, balancing cash drawers and maintaining proper cash levels throughout the day.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve department goals and objectives. Assist colleagues as needed during peak periods or with special projects.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Prior experience in cash handling or banking is preferred.

Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Knowledge of basic computer applications and ability to learn new software systems quickly.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
