Model Sales Receptionist (Cashier) $16.50/hr + Tips

The Model Sales Receptionist greets Guests, and tenders funds in a timely, accurate and efficient manner in a high - volume nightclub atmosphere. Works in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior Guest service at all times. This position involves use of a POS (ClubTrax) and in processing of payments through credit card, debit card, and cash transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Greet guests promptly, courteously and in a timely, friendly manner with an upbeat attitude

Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner

Processes all payments & anticipate guest needs

Provide guests with information and directions

Adhere to all company standard operating procedures

Provide information to guests regarding our venue events and pricing

Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business

Process guest payment by cash, credit card, venue comps and all other appropriate tender types

Obtain and return issued bank each day, count the bank and ensure it balances

Responsible to ensure accurate accounting of all cashier monies

Responsible for following proper check out procedures

Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed

Inform Management of any complaint, comments or incident

Appear in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled time

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Excellent customer service and people skills required

Must have open availability

Ability to perform basic mathematical equations

Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude always

Ability to listen empathetically and be respectful always

Ability to maintain composure and stay focused

Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, and work under pressure and meet deadlines

Must have reliable transportation, reliable form of communication and be on time for scheduled shifts. Be able to work various shifts according to availability

Must be 21 years of age or older. Must have or be able to obtain Sheriff's Card, Health Card, and Tam Card.
