DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs an Administrative Assistant 2, you will provide support to the MHDS Administrator and complete various assignments including but not limited to typing, filing, record keeping, long-range scheduling plans and scheduling of appointments and conference sites. Strong organizational skills are utilized to compose and promptly produce accurate and concise meeting minutes for review by the Board Chair, Board Secretary, and Administrator. You will review and compose daily correspondence and provide written dictation via laptop, stenographic notes, or dictation equipment. Within this role, you will also screen incoming phone calls, review and distribute mail and email, and complete photocopying, scanning, and faxing. Maintaining absolute and consistent confidentiality is an essential factor of this position. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 40 hours/week.

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience as a staff assistant to an administrative officer or as a technician in a staff service of a large organization; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
