SummaryJob title: Industrial Networking Services SpecialistJob ID: 202494440005Department: Wichita - RESLocation: KS-WichitaDescriptionSummary:The AIMM Services Industrial Networking services specialist delivers assessments of clients’ existing networking and security infrastructure with the view to develop, design and implement services that will provide a stable, secure, and long-term industrial network infrastructure within a production and automation control systems network. The role is to be closely involved with clients on a consultative basis to understand and implement programs that will have a meaningful and positive impact on their business. This will be a territory-defined role that reports to the AIMM Services Business Development Manager. Each network engineer will work closely with the services business development positions, account managers, location management and technical employees. Reports to: Profit Center ManagerMinimum Qualifications:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or related technology driven degree.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal communications, organizational and written/verbal communication skills

Hands-on experience configuring IT equipment (Cisco, VMware, etc.)

Experience creating part number level bills of material for simple and complex network solutions

Previous experience working as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team completing full project life-cycle implementations

Exposure to Industrial Control Systems including PLC, HMI/SCADA, plant historian, motor control, motion control, etc. technology and applications (Rockwell or comparable platforms)

Demonstrate Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills required

Demonstrate an ability to influence and guide team members when required

Preferred Qualifications:Network Engineering Certification (CCENT, CCNA Routing and Switching/Wireless, CINS Cisco Industrial Networking Specialist, VCA, VCP, GICSP) Understanding of CPwE DIG (Converged Plantwide Ethernet Design and Implementation Guide) Understanding of ISA, ANSI, NEMA, NEC and NIST standards. Working Conditions:

Flexibility for travel 50% -75% is required and within the given geographical area.

Supervisory Responsibilities: NoEssential Job Functions:Perform ‘hands-on’ network/cybersecurity/wireless assessment, design and implementation of simple and complex process automation and/or discrete controls networks for a variety of automated manufacturing processes and equipmentFollow scope of work to complete documented service offerings at client sites.Follow or exceed client site safety and work requirements.Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.Articulate the value of service offerings to clientsIdentify client’s needs and goals that may be outside of original scope of workDocument work activities in an appropriate and professional report format.Assist in development of new services through client understanding and provide feedback, technical education, seminars, webinars, etc.Write detailed documentation that include user needs, system specifications, observed issues with remediation recommendations or implementation requirements in order to develop or modify network and/or control system infrastructure.
