ISO Hay/Crop Farmer

Liberty Farms is a Certified Organic Farm located in Ghent, NY that raises a variety of livestock, including cattle, sheep, pigs, and poultry. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team, THAT MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE in all aspects of hay making, and can assist with our livestock program. This is a full-time and seasonal position, with opportunities for year-round employment. Compensation starts at $25 per hour, with room for growth. A good candidate would have a minimum of 3 years of hay making experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs, and be able to work independently and as a team.

Minimum of 3 years of hay making experience.

Must have knowledge of seeding and harvesting hay & crops.

Must be able to operate tractors, tillers, discs, harrows, tedders, rakes, & balers.
