Position Overview: The Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible for high-level administration and organizational support for our manufacturing processes throughout our AM ecosystem. The technical acumen of an ideal candidate includes experience in all aspects of maintaining a healthy facility infrastructure. Furthermore, the ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a strong attention to detail with an organizational and detailed mindset, proactively takes ownership of his/her responsibilities, is punctual in attendance and meeting goals, and remains flexible with scheduled hours.

Job Responsibilities:

General operations include managing daily facility activities.

Maintain supporting equipment and tools for the entire AM ecosystem.

Interact with all stakeholders to help identify new maintenance needs.

Manage contractor relationships to ensure good communication and earn trust.

Create a manageable system to maintain the facility infrastructure.

Communicate with I3D teams if we are at risk of downtime, due to facility issues.

Identify potential facility issues and react in a swift manner.

Create Preventive Maintenance schedule.

Administrative support for the Director of Facilities.

Requirements:

5 Years of facility experience.

Uses initiative, discretion, and judgment within established procedure guidelines.

Proficiency in gathering information and entering data into computer databases.

Promote and support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities in Manufacturing.

Demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment.

Ability to perform all assigned tasks, work independently, and complete work on schedule.

Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.

Work effectively, cooperatively and with a positive behavior as a team contributor on all assignments.

Ability to follow instructions: Written, verbal, or electronic communications.

Having a background in organizing workspace and taking ownership in said workspace.

Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the i3DMFG QMS (Quality Management System).

Ability to report to i3DMFG office in Redmond, OR

Excellent references from previous employers.

Other Skills/Abilities

Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication.

Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Open Project)

Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) experience a plus.

CAD experience a plus.

CNC programming a plus.

Wire EDM experience a plus.

Background in metal fabrication, mechanical, or construction is a plus.

Proficient at working with your hands using various tools is a plus.

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Experience in a regulated environment, such as ISO, AS9100, ITAR.

Working in a manufacturing shop environment a plus.

Critical thinker.
