Customer Service Representative

Sonoma Tilemakers is a leading wholesale manufacturer and distributor of high-end residential and commercial ceramic tile, stone and glass. We are looking to fill a full-time Customer Service opportunity with a talented team player that enjoys providing customer with the best customers experience.

Position Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for order processing, managing inbound and outbound telephone calls and e-mails from customers, data-entry, offering technical support as well as problem research, resolution and follow-up, all while offering the exceptional customer service we’ve committed to our customers.

Essential Functions:

Understand customer needs via phone, email, and fax

Provide pricing and quotes, product information, literature, samples, and support for customers

Process orders and product returns

Research and respond to requests from customers

Engage in technical discussions with customers

Promote solutions and services

Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on product changes and developments

Work as inside liaison to outside sales team

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proficient in MS Office

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Excellent customer relationship skills

Organized, strong attention to detail

Strong problem identification and resolution skills

Excellent listening skills

Passionate and self-motivated

Able to perform basic mathematical calculations

High level of integrity and work ethic

Reliable and dependable with consistent attendance

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

3 to 5 years of work experience in high volume Customer Service, Hospitality, Sales, and or Logistics

Knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques helpful
