Design Engineer
Description:This engineer will develop large machine projects from start to end stages. The customer's product is machinery that moves, slices, and packages baked goods like hamburger and hot dog buns, english muffins, and bread. This person will be responsible for full lifecycle development from concept to commissioning - but they're primary role centers on design engineering. For a new product, the engineer will begin with sketching concepts, they will create 3D models of the new equipment, they would use simulation tools to determine if the design is good / effective, and then the engineer will provide support (answer questions, give direction) to the manufacturing team or the customer as the equipment is manufactured, assembled, and delivered.Skills:machine design, 3d design, industrial equipment, solidworks, robotics experience, bsme, controls systems, packaging machinery, project leadershipAdditional Skills & Qualifications:NICE TO HAVES: degree About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
