Engineering Documentation Specialist

Description:Actalent is hiring an Engineering Documentation Specialist to join our team! This role will support the engineering team in documentation changes to support BOM, Schematics, and an ERP system. Daily Tasks: Compose Documents in Windchill PDM from change requests using drawing and BOM markups, engineer instructions, customer provided info, and inferred knowledge. Determine implementation plan for change requests and assign tasks to appropriate member roles through Windchill. Complete change activities related to part creation, revision control, drawing updates, and BOM updates. Regularly communicate with stakeholders of any outstanding work to be completed to incorporate changes and status updates of documents. Meet metrics for ECN throughput and lead times by logging pertinent information throughout the lifecycle. Potentially assist in the development of new processes related to engineering change management.
