Janitor

Hours: 2:25pm-10:30pmDo you have handyman skills? QPS has a 2nd shift janitorial position that would require you to clean up spills and debris in a warehouse manufacturing environment. Must have basic tool experience and is comfortable with interview directly with the company beforehand.Janitor Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Clean up any unexpected spills throughout the warehouse

- Maintain the aisleways as well as drive the floor scrubber in the molding area

- Maintain aisleways and drive the floor scrubber in molding areas

- Maintain cleanliness of parking lot including trash removal, clean around trash compactor, and outside storage

- Wash and wipe down all machines and equipment

- Remove all resin from the molding machines, their base and the surrounding floor

- Trash removal and bag replacement in warehouse, breakrooms, restrooms, and parking lot

- Clean tables, sinks and floors in breakroom and shop restrooms as needed or at least once per shift

- Remove all garbage from the lunchroom, restrooms, and parking lot

- Clean table, sinks, and floors of breakrooms and restrooms including restocking supplies

- Keep cleaning supplies stocked and secure when not in use

- Follow all OSHA and safety related rules and regulationsJanitor Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED

- Work in a non-climate controlled environment

- Stand for the entire 8-hour shift

- Lift up to 35lbs repetitively throughout the day

- Ability to read and write simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

- Ability to do simple math (add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's)
