Parking Enforcement Officer Part time or Full time

We are currently looking for qualified personnel to perform Parking Enforcement positions in the Miami-Dade and homestead area. We have a proven track record of integrity, honor and customer services that far exceeds our competitors.

We hold our officers to higher standards and expect these Duties and Responsibilities of an entry-level position.

- Thoroughly monitor and patrol the areas of the assigned property to deter Parking Violations and enforce property policies.

- Conduct foot patrols through courtyards, management offices, pools, corridors and parking areas or where assigned and as needed.

- Complete and document lighting, assessments at least once each shift.

- Full and detailed electronic reports of all activities and observations during a dedicated shift with an emphasis on names, times, unusual occurrences.

- Notify property management, law enforcement, when necessary to adequately and safely perform duties.

- Be on the lookout for unauthorized vehicles; documenting your encounters and notifying proper authorities as needed to enforce.

- Conduct parking enforcement checks; documenting illegally parked, non-registered, abandoned and vandalized vehicles.

- Provide direction and assistance to tenants and authorized visitors regarding Parking-related functions and reasonable customer service requests.

- Conduct all service in a manner that promotes service, integrity, respect, and fairness.

- The employee must follow standards for universal precautions to assure a safe and healthy work environment.

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working conditions will vary but may include routine discomforts such as heat, moisture/wetness, loud noise, standing for long periods at a time. Work is performed in different environments including performing Parking enforcement functions on foot and in a vehicle; with potential exposure to hazardous situations, hostile individuals, and physical trauma.

Position may require occasional physical exertion such as bending, climbing steps, constant walking and standing for extended periods of time.

BASIC EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

21 years of age or older

U.S. citizen of good character

High school diploma or GED

Pass background investigation

Good driving record

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written form for professional public interaction and report writing.

Excellent typing skills, as all reporting is online.

Ability to work, collaborate and communicate with other employees as a part of a team; follow directions and work under stress.

Must display strong moral character; adding value to our team.

As a condition of employment, the employee must maintain a current and active status of all required License(s) at all times and must carry the license at all times while on duty.
