OverviewThe Interior Plant Care Technician services live interior tropical plants (watering, cleaning foliage, pruning) and related decorations at Moore’s corporate, medical, HOA, and institutional customers throughout Chicagoland.Face-to-face interaction with Moore’s customers is a regular part of the job. Each technician is a “crew of one” and must be self-motivated with good time management skills and attention to detail, so that Moore Landscapes can deliver outstanding quality and an exceptional customer experience.QualificationsA love of people, plants, and landscape.Strong time management, organization, attention to detail, and self-management skills.Good communication skills.A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required. Technicians must be eligible to drive company vehicles.A background check, drug screening, and/or proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required to access some customer sites.ResponsibilitiesThe Interior Technician is responsible for maintaining customers’ plants and decorations within estimated costs and according to customers’ expectations and Moore standards and specifications.Representative tasks may include watering, cleaning, and pruning live plants, plant containers, and beds, and installing and removing holiday decorations. This role may require sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, lifting weights of up to 50 lbs, and using hand tools.The Interior Technician may also work on installation and design projects as needed, especially during the holiday décor season.Company DescriptionFounded in 1948, Moore Landscapes is an award-winning, commercial landscape company providing maintenance, enhancements, design, construction, interior plantscapes, holiday décor, and snow management services.
