Schwieters Companies in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area is seeking to hire a full-time, Experienced Finish (Interior Trim) Carpenter. As a Finish Carpenter, you complete all the interior finishing for both our commercial and residential projects. Using your carpentry skills, you finish baseboards, casing, crown moulding, hardware, window trim, door trim, and more. You also install stair rails, doors, vanities, and cabinets. Because you apply the finishing touches to each project, your eye for detail is essential to ensure that everything is done right and to our company standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete all the interior finishing for both our residential and commercial projects

You will install the following:

-Cabinets

-Vanities

-Stair rails

-Base

-Casing

-Crown moulding

-Hardware

-Window trim

-Doors and door trim

-Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

-Minimum 2 years Finish Carpentry experience in new construction homes (both commercial and residential)

-Experience installing kitchen cabinets and stair rails with spindles

-Candidate must have a good work history

-Dependable vehicle

-Valid driver's license

-Ability to use power tools comfortably

-Motivated and reliable

-Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical/work performance test (this is a safety-sensitive position)

WORK SCHEDULE

-40-50 hours per week starting at 6am at the jobsite

-Monday-Friday, overtime at different times throughout the year

PAY

$24-$40 per hour, determined by experience
