No experience in electrical supply is needed, just a commitment to our customers and a drive to exceed expectations.As a Distribution Associate, you will: Serve our customers by giving them exactly what they need when they need it. We aren't just offering a job, but inviting you to begin a career. Starting in this role you will learn our processes, products and industry which will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed at Summit.This position will consist of commuting toIrving, TX for training for a week or two. The position will start in Sherman, TXfor 2 to 3 months and officiallywill be relocated to McKinney, TX.Your Day Will Include:

Coordinate team members to accomplish daily tasks and fulfill customer needs

Communicate with customers through email and over the phone to answer customer questions and concerns, confirm order changes

Maintain inventories to ensure efficient use of products, save money, and reduce waste

Keep track of all documents in a comprehensive filing system and record keeping system

Prepare receipts for orders, deliver materials, process returns

Use SnapStock, Excel, Sharepoint, and SAP to process customer requests

Use Exel and Microsoft Office to keep track of inventory, order changes, and receipts

Train new coworkers in procedures, safety protocols, computer skills, organizational systems, order processes, customer service, and communication

Keep work environment clean and free of hazards by dusting desks, sweeping, picking up trash, and organizing products

Pulling customer orders, ensuring their accuracy, and preparing them for shipment

Loading and unloading trucks

Receive and stock products as needed to replenish inventory

As an ideal candidate you will have:

High school diploma or equivalency required.

Prior experience in a warehouse environment or providing exceptional customer service is preferred.

Communication skills

Knowledge of workingwith computer software systems, such as excel, adobe and Outlook

Attention to detail

Well organized

Physical Challenges:

Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.

Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment.

Ability to operate commercial vehicles.
