Job Description:Position:12 month, full-time administrative position reporting to the Director of Athletics. Supervises thefollowing employees: Assistant Field Hockey coach(es), Graduate Assistant assigned to sport, and studentworkers for game administration and management.Duties:Oversight for all phases of the Field Hockey program. Primary responsibilities includeattracting, recruiting and retaining student-athletes who fit the educational mission of Russell Sage College.Providing excellent student-athletes experience as a member of these athletic programsSpecific coaching responsibilities include:

Practice and game preparation

Game day management (facilities/team needs), coaching and travel

Recruitment efforts including travel, written and verbal communication and scouting

Planning and maintaining team budget

Supervision of support staff

Training, practice development and organization

Compliance with NCAA and conference legislations and college policies and procedures

Secondary duties include game administration and other responsibilities

Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics

The estimated salary is $58,458 per year for 40 hours per week for 52 weeks.Requirements:Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred;

Highly organized individual with strong writing and verbal skills;

Previous college playing and/or coaching experience required;

Experience in recruiting preferred;

Demonstrated commitment to NCAA Division III philosophy.
