Plumber's Helper
Work located in Redding, CA or the immediate area. Not currently looking for a service and repair technician.
Typical construction duties such as lifting, bending, stooping, crawling, standing for extended periods of time, walking short and long distances, digging, sweeping, raking, shoveling, moving materials in a wheelbarrow or bucket and running light duty power equipment (jackhammer, tamper, concrete saw). Assist plumbers with measuring, cutting, pipefitting, hanging pipe, grading pipe, replacing fixtures, troubleshooting plumbing problems in a residential and commercial setting. Lift up to 75 lbs overhead.
Additional requirements: Well-spoken and capable of taking direction and relaying information to team members in a clear and concise manner. Able to make and act upon decisions. Excellent troubleshooter. Good organizational skills. Ability and willingness to work independently or with a crew of 1 or more people. Must be physically capable of performing all duties assigned. Be safety conscious performing tasks and follow all CalOSHA, CSLB and State of California regulations and requirements. Maintain a clean driving record and insurablity. Have the heart of a teacher. Minimum of 1 year experience in the construction industry.
