Wyndham Garden San Diego is seeking a qualified Customer Service friendly Agent to operate the front desk hotel operations. Candidate must maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, services, procedures and hotel standards. Must have knowledge for correct use of computer software and programs affiliated with check processes. Candidate will anticipate Guests' needs, respond promptly and provide detailed information for various Guest requests. A positive Agent attitude is vital to the well-being of the total Guest experience, to ensure that all practices are implemented throughout the department.

Responsibilities:

Access all functions for most computer systems.

Ensure that current information on rates, group blocks, package rates are monitored and implemented properly.

Monitor the check-ins/check out process: anticipate critical situations and assist wherever necessary to help alleviate the Guest experience expediently.

Monitor communication logs and ensure that Guest requests are followed up and completed in a timely manner.

Providing communication documents and follow ups to make sure requests are made.

Making new or modifying existing reservations for potential hotel Guests.

Processing credit card pre-authorizations.

Settling account balances.

Cash counting.

Closing house accounts.

Running credit limit reports.

Answering Customer service calls.

Addressing customer care issues

Scheduling Team Member shifts.

Training newly hired employees.

Responding to Online Traveler question.

Standard course training and implementation.

Providing information for hotel attractions.

Additional duties:

Review arrivals reports daily during your shift for accuracy and completeness.

Print registrations cards against information for arrival reports: rectify deficiencies with respective personnel.

Work closely in conjunction with the housekeeping department to ensure accurate room status reporting, readiness of room availability or to report any Guest issues.

Print reports for any room discrepancies; while researching status inquires for the days arrivals.

Customer service friendly.

Written and verbal communication is a vital component in this department for all pass downs during the days activities.

Requirements:

Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of Customer service experience. Training will be provided upon hire along with incentive 90 day program completion.

All candidates must be at least 18 years of age or older.

All candidate must have completed and graduated with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States. Valid Identification is required upon hire. E-verify!

Must have a positive and friendly personality.

Willingness to help with Guest needs upon request.

Detailed oriented person is key to this position.

Self-starting motivating individual will be required for this position!

Computer skills a must. Training will be provide upon hire.

Mid-shift work schedule. 12:00pm-8:00pm most days.

Flexible work schedules are needed. Weekends and various holidays are required.
