Business Litigation Attorney

Abbey, Weitzenberg, Warren & Emery is a preeminent Sonoma County law firm based in Santa Rosa, California, less than 50 miles north of San Francisco. Our firm is well known and respected for its work and successes in business litigation, employment law, corporate and real estate transactions, trust litigation and elder abuse. As one of the longest tenured firms in the North Bay, we bring generations of aggressive, effective, and successful legal representation to Sonoma County and Northern California. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service to our many local and national clients, including wineries, banks, high tech firms, vineyard owners, non-profit enterprises, real estate developers and many other large and small business owners, while stressing collaborative lawyering, mentorship and the importance of a strong work-life balance in the heart of Sonoma County’s wine country. As awarded by the North Bay Business Journal on multiple occasions, our firm has been recognized as one of the best places to work in the North Bay. We encourage all of our attorneys to volunteer for a wide range of community organizations and many of our attorneys serve on the boards of local non-profits and other organizations.

We are seeking a trial attorney with three to six years experience to join our firm as a Business Litigation Associate. You must have achieved a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and have been admitted to the California State Bar. We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience, including a starting salary in the range of $150,000 to $180,000, included within that range is a generous bonus program. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package. This is an on-premises position.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a strong work ethic, solid analytical and writing skills, broad experience in all aspects of civil litigation, and trial experience. As a result of our firm’s relatively small size, all of our associates are entrusted with dealing directly with clients, opposing counsel and the courts.

If you are interested in applying to join our firm, and you possess the experience and skills specified, please provide your resume, cover letter, transcript and a writing sample to Kathy Edmonds at kedmonds@abbeylaw.com.
