Architectural Project Manager

Small design-oriented architectural firm is seeking an energetic, flexible, project manager to help oversee high-end residential and commercial projects.

Skills Required

5-8 years of experience in an architectural firm.

Experience creating construction documents.

Must be proficient with Autocad.

Experience with Sketchup is preferred but not required.

Local to New York City, to survey properties and attend project meetings in person.

The ability to develop details.

Experience with free-standing house construction/detailing would be appreciated.

Responsibilities:

Survey and prepare existing conditions drawings.

3d computer models.

Develop pricing documents and construction documents.

Prepare Department of Buildings application paperwork.

Ability to switch gears and work on a variety of projects simultaneously.

Writing skills are a plus.

Collaborate remotely but within 45 minutes of Manhattan.

This is a small firm where the applicant's contributions will be significant in every phase of the process from initial concept design through construction.
