Wildland Firefighter

Hiring new and experienced firefighters for 2024 Engine crew.

These are seasonal, on call positions, ENGB, FFT1, and FFT2.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be 18 years old.

2. Pass a physical fitness pack test (walk 3 miles within 45 min.)

3. Pass required classes (paid by employer)

New employees must complete S130/190, L180 class.

4. Be able to travel within and outside of Oregon, and work in rugged conditions for long hours.

5. Must have 8" leather boots (no steel toes), sleeping bag, and tent.
