Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including finance, HR, IT, and Research, to define business processes for the Workday ERP system.Performs analysis surrounding current and proposed processes and researches industry-accepted best practice business processes. Documents current and future state maps, standard operating procedures, system configurations, and other relevant information. Assists in the identification and implementation of process improvements and system optimizations.Collaborates with stakeholders to gather business requirements and documents and assists Leads in translating them into functional requirements. Gains an understanding of software capabilities and software configuration settings, including setting up financial structures, chart of accounts, accounting rules, and financial reporting. Assists in gap analysis to identify areas where customization or system enhancements are required. Ensures accuracy and integrity of financial data. Participates in testing activities.Participates in end-user and other stakeholder engagement and coordinates user acceptance testing. Assists in training end users and developing end-user training materials. Supports end users immediately after the system go-live. Expected Salary:$75,000-$85,000 annually; commensurate with education and experience. Minimum Requirements:A bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience implementing and configuring a large-scale ERP, including setup and maintenance of financial structures, chart of accounts, and accounting rules strongly preferred.

Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Demonstrated understanding of research administration (e.g., post-award, clinical) and application of federal and non-federal sponsor regulations on award management, accounting, and financial processes

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think through issues and provide alternate, well-defined solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results within established timelines.

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.

Acts as a change agent to identify and champion process improvement.
