Description Robert Half is recruiting an Office Administrator for a boutique real estate law firm in downtown San Francisco (some telecommute OK). The Administrator is responsible for human resources duties (onboarding/offboarding, employment payroll & benefits administration, and recruitment), preparing and sending invoices to clients and tracking collections, trust account management, vendor relations and accounts payable, balancing and forecasting firm’s profit and loss operating budget, leading marketing initiatives (incl. email blast campaigns), website maintenance (incl. social media), and event planning, and other miscellaneous office administration duties (facilities, IT, ordering office supplies and equipment/furniture, etc.).The qualifications for the Office Manager role are the following: 3+ years of mid-sized or larger law firm management; Good HR experience, incl. staff supervision, doing performance reviews, updating employee handbook, etc.; Passion for talent acquisition, retention, and savvy law firm marketing; Basic accounting (A/P & A/P), bookkeeping, and monthly client invoicing skills; Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), responsive and timely, very organized and tech savvy, and good project management skills.This is a compelling opportunity to take on a leadership role at a customer service-focused law firm poised for growth. 3+ years of law office management experience

Great attention to detail

Sound written and verbal communication skills

Eagerness to take initiative and learn quickly

Strong familiarity with boutique law firm

Comprehension of compensation and benefits

Well-founded grasp of escrow

Proven knowledge of billing collection

Experience with benefits administration

Billing software for attorneys experience required

Hands-on experience with employee relations

Practical knowledge of Civic Engagement

Assist attorneys experience desired

Solid understanding of policies & procedures

Prior experience with Human Resources (HR) Administration

General familiarity with operating budget

Quality experience with negotiate contracts

Good understanding of real estate leasing

Earlier work involving real estate law

Client relations experience highly desired

Previous experience working with vendor agreements

Foundational knowledge in civil litigation law firm

Skills in budget forecasting

Deep understanding of trust account

Proven knowledge of management-side employment law

Knowledge of training & development

Experience with accounts payable (AP)

Well-founded grasp of monthly invoices

General familiarity with law firm

Practical knowledge of legal professionals

Solid understanding of performance reviews

Wide ranging experience with office functions

Foundational knowledge in bi-monthly payroll

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize tasks and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed

Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
