Asphalt Foreman

Madden Industrial Craftsmen has a client that needs to add an Asphalt Foreman to its hard working team. Bring your concrete knowledge and leadership skills to join a dynamic asphalt restoration company that’s been in business for 40 years.

Responsibilities:

Organizes work to get the most productivity out of the crew .

Participates in pre-project and pre-task planning activities (reviews plans, subgrade, drainage, fine grading, compaction, paving, etc.) and then relays planning details to field crew.

Checks plants and orders correct amount of materials daily for asphalt patching. Coordinates with Operations Assistant to order correct amount of materials needed for concrete patching.

Excellent communication skills.

Supervise, and trains crew.

Performs all aspects of the job, including general laboring and operating equipment.

Solves problems as they arise and contacts Superintendent for assistance if unable to resolve the problem.

Qualifications:

Industry experience and 1 year in supervisory role.

In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Ability to communicate and report effectively.

Strong problem solving skills and aptitude in math.

Ability to work weekends and occasional nights.

Ability to travel to various worksites.
