Junior Associate Attorney - PI Firm
THIS IS A FULL-TIME IN-PERSON POSITION IN CONCORD, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Assist in preparing for and attending court hearings and trials
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Review and analyze legal documents and contracts
- Conduct client interviews and gather relevant information
- Assist in negotiations and settlement discussions
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to CA bar association
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an attorney, preferably in a personal injury law firm.
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Proficient in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to effectively analyze complex legal issues
- Experience with legal drafting and document preparation
- Ability to litigate cases in court
