Responsibilities:

1. Provide nurturing care to infants in a childcare setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met.

2. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate infants' physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.

3. Develop and implement a curriculum that includes teaching infant feeding techniques, emphasizing proper nutrition and feeding schedules in alignment with individual needs.

4. Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, including proper handwashing, sanitization of toys and surfaces, and safe sleep practices.

5. Establish positive relationships with infants and their families, fostering open communication and trust regarding health, feeding, and schedule adherence.

6. Conduct regular health checks and monitor for signs of illness or discomfort, promptly reporting any concerns to parents and supervisors.

7. Ensure timely diaper changes according to each infant's schedule and needs, maintaining hygiene standards and diapering procedures.

8. Collaborate with co-teachers and staff members to ensure consistent implementation of curriculum, health, and safety procedures throughout the childcare facility.

9. Attend training sessions and stay updated on best practices in infant care, feeding, and caregiving techniques.

10. Maintain accurate records of feeding schedules, diaper changes, and health-related information for each infant in your care.

Qualifications:

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

- Previous experience working with infants in a childcare setting is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of infant development, caregiving techniques, and infant feeding practices.

- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with infants, parents, and colleagues.

- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with infants.
