This lab conducts advanced material analyses and product evaluations using techniques like X-ray, SEM, cross-sectioning, and FTIR. Serving customers across Vitesco in North America, the lab operates throughout the entire product lifecycle.Job Description:

Conduct analyses using appropriate methods based on customer needs.

Generate high-quality reports promptly from analysis work.

Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders, attending meetings to present results and methodologies.

Work predominantly on-site in the lab environment.

Mentor junior analysts, sharing knowledge and expertise.

Contribute to enhancing analysis quality by proposing innovative and efficient methods and improving documentation standards.

Assist in maintaining lab equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.

Basic Requirements:

Technical:

Bachelor's degree in Materials Science/Engineering (preferred), Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

At least 2 years of industry experience, preferably in the automotive or microelectronics sector.

Familiarity with failure analysis of electrical components and materials such as plastics, solder, and metals in electronic assemblies.

Proven ability to write concise and accurate reports.

Communication:

Proficiency in both written and oral English.

Preferred Requirements:

Openness to learning and applying new skills, particularly outside one’s primary area of expertise.

Comfortable working outside of one's comfort zone.

Initiative, commitment, and a goal-oriented, solution-focused work approach.

Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
