Office Administrator
We are excited to announce that Buyers Barricades Austin is looking for an Office Administrator. This very important role will be responsible for providing administrative support to all areas of the branch office including but not limited to office administration, customer service, inventory control, and special projects. Our branch offices operate much like a “start-up”, so we are looking for an individual with an eagerness to learn, the willingness to be a team player, and the capability to do what it takes to get the job done.

Office Administration
Scanning, filing, and uploading documents
Deliver mail and outgoing packages to appropriate shipping center
Distribute mail and other correspondence in a timely manner
Assist with month-end process
Ensure all office equipment is maintained
Provide walk-in applicants with pre-screening questionnaire
Customer Service
Answer telephone and direct callers
Provide additional front office support; greet and assist customers
Process payments for walk-in customers
Inventory Control
Complete office supply inventory; order accordingly
Communicate with cleaning service; order cleaning material/toiletries
Order and restock food, beverages, and lunches
Special Projects
Assist with team building activities
Assist with special events
Assist with marketing
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education preferred)
1 year experience in an administrative support role
Previous customer service experience is a plus
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
SKILLS
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Must be organized, able to multi-task, and manage time effectively
Ability to problem solve
Demonstrate a positive attitude and ethical behavior
