To support the mission of Helio Health, theSubstance Use Disorder Counselorwill review of main responsibilities. TheSubstance Use Disorder Counselorwill work on aFull-Timebasis out of Helio Health’s Inpatient Detox program.In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time hires for this position are eligible for aSign-On Incentiveup to$1,500depending on licensure!Pay Rate:$20.19 - $24.20 per hour.Responsibilities

Maintain a case load of patients seeking treatment from the effects of substance use and/or mental health disorders.

Perform essential counseling responsibilities including screening, intake and orientation, assessment, evaluation and intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping.

Participate in program, administrative and clinical committees as assigned.

Relate effectively with staff, clients, and community while upholding confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum of an Associate's Degree in a human service field required.

CASAC-T required.

One year counseling experience preferred.

Equivalent alternative combination of education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirements.

Knowledge of addiction/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group process and principles of counseling.

Proficiency with basic computer applications.
