POSITION SUMMARY:

The Endpoint Engineer is responsible for configuration, management, and maintenance of endpoints throughout AtriCure, including Windows and Apple-based desktop and laptops along with mobile devices. The position drives the configuration and use of automation tools. Through creating and enforcing policy and automating software deployments, the Endpoint Engineer establishes a streamlined user experience while adhering to cybersecurity policies and vendor licensing agreements. The position identifies and troubleshoots issues with new hardware or software deployments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

Packaging software for automated deployment to endpoints

Testing hardware and software for compatibility and performance issues and making recommendations based on findings

Ensuring optimal performance of end-user desktops

Using Microsoft Intune to implement and enforce policies for device compliance and security.

Troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Intune deployments

Maintaining comprehensive documentation for configuration, process, and troubleshooting.

Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to endpoint management

Using patch management platforms to deliver consistent and effective software versions

Supporting line of business applications and equipment, escalating to vendors, IT Infrastructure or Enterprise Application teams as necessary

Collaborating with Infrastructure and Security to optimize client and server configurations

Training teammates in the use of new hardware and software platforms

Other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

5+ years' experience with Windows desktop operating systems including Windows 10 and 11

3+ years' experience directly supporting and maintaining a diverse set of endpoint devices

3+ years' experience with Microsoft Intune, AD, Entra ID, PowerShell and Group Policy

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with technologies such as Microsoft Autopilot and JAMF to create and enforce policy

Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and JAMF to manage and co
