Web System Administrator and Support

The position is responsible for managing production systems.

Servers - RHEL Linux, Apache, Exim/Dovecot, PowerDNS, MySQL, PHP

Networking - TCP/VLAN/VPN/IPv4/IPv6

Required knowledge:

RHEL 7/8/9 - troubleshooting, installation, updates, backup, recovery

Linux - command line proficiency over SSH

Understanding of internet-based email systems (SMTP, POP3, IMAP, SSL/TLS)

Networking TCP/IP and Ethernet - resolving issues, installing, configuring

Apache administration

MySQL administration [with replication]

DNS management

SSL certificate management

Script automation in Bash and PHP

Good teamwork (communication, cooperation).

Diligent, pro-active, organized, thorough.

Preferred:

Web development knowledge (HTML, PHP, CSS, Javascript)

Experience administering Exim/Dovecot

Experience with GIT

Systems security (IPTABLES/Suricata/Fail2Ban), Spamassassin, malware prevention

Build custom SRPM/RPM packages and manage internal repository

Involvement with Chiropractic
