Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Patient Access - RegistrationSchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:Department Specific Job Details:Develops, implements and continuously monitors processes designed to convert Self-Pay patients to 3rd party coverage and to decrease Emergency Department Bad Debt write-offs. Reviews problematic Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and Coordination of Benefit (COB) accounts for information required for payment. Maintains competency as Registrar. Informs Parents/Legal Guardians/Guarantors of the various payment and financial assistance options available and assists them with the collection of all required information and completion of all required forms. Required: High School / GED are required. Candidate must possess 1-2 years at Dayton Children's Hospital as a Registrar or 3-4 years relevant experience outside Dayton Children's Hospital. Candidate must possess computer skills demonstrating 30 WPM and accuracy with alpha numeric data entry, strong communication skills, strong customer service skills and excellent telephone etiquette.Education Requirements:GED, High School (Required)Certification/License Requirements:
