plant restaurant is hiring cooks

plant restaurant seeks cooks to join our small kitchen staff for immediate training, 3-5 shifts per week, 24-40 hours, depending on mutual needs. We are flexible with scheduling. We are looking for food enthusiasm, kitchen experience, the ability to multitask, and an openness to help (re)create the plant standard. We welcome sauté chefs, grill experts, pantry cooks, and expediters. Duties include daily preparation and dinner-service execution.

plant is open 5:00-9:00 Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and 5:00-10:00 Friday and Saturday. Shifts begin at 2:30. We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays and take two consecutive days off.

Pay is $22 to $25/hour (varies with workload) with hourly wage and shared service-charge pool combined. We offer quarterly bonuses, a paid sick day per quarter, paid birthday off, daily meal and drink, and an allowance for shoes.
