Mechanical Engineer

Actalent Engineering is Hiring Description:

Develop CNC programs for production runs on mills, lathes, and routers

Modify existing programs and make manual program adjustments as necessary

Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process

Train on set up, programming, and operation of CNC machines

Responsible for design of fixtures and tooling

Write setup instruction and tool list to optimize setup time

Observe operation of machine on trial run to improve program cycle time

Create job travelers and manufacturing operations from material and hardware to outside process

Analyze drawings, sketches and designs to determine the best program and process to manufacture precision parts

Provide support to engineering team as needed by creating technical drawings and digital models to meet deadlines.

Assist in the design of lean manufacturing cells to optimize space, use of equipment, material, and personnel
