We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing prompt, accurate, thorough, and courteous responses to all customer inquiries. You will handle both routine and non-routine inquiries, ensuring effective customer relations and resolving any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback to management, contribute to process improvements, and assist with training new employees.Job Specifications:

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Columbia, SC

Pay Rate: $16/hr

Shift: 1st

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide prompt, accurate, thorough, and courteous responses to all customer inquiries

Handle non-routine inquiries that may require deviation from standard procedures

Perform research as needed to resolve inquiries

Ensure effective customer relations by responding accurately, timely, and courteously via telephone, written communication, web, or walk-in inquiries

Adapt responses or conduct extensive research to handle situations that require it

Accurately document all inquiries

Initiate or process adjustments and perform additional research to resolve inquiries

Coordinate with other departments to resolve problems

Respond to, research, and/or assist with priority inquiries and special projects as required by management

Provide feedback to management regarding customer problems, questions, and needs

Maintain accurate records on complaints and customer comments, making recommendations for changes to management

Follow through on complaints until resolved or report to management as needed

Maintain basic knowledge of quality work instructions and company policies

Assist with process improvements by recommending changes in procedures and techniques

Maintain productivity, quality, and timeliness standards

Assist with the training of new employees and cross-training of coworkers

Qualifications & Skills:

2 years call center experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient spelling, punctuation, and grammar

Strong human relations and organizational skills

Ability to handle high-stress situations

Good judgment

Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion

Ability to learn and operate multiple computer systems effectively and efficiently

Basic computer operating skills

Familiarity with standard office equipment

Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software is preferred
