Salary Range: $39,576 - $51,446Work location: 5th Force Support Squadron, Child Development Center - Minot AFB, NDPlease submit your resume, transcripts, and any related certifications by e-mail to: Minotstaffing@us.af.mil The primary purpose of this position is: To provide appropriate specialized developmental care and instruction for children in the Child Development Center.Duties:

1. Designs, implements, and reviews activity plans.

2. Develops programs, which promote the growth of each child in the group.

3. Observes and evaluates children's development level and maintains record of progress.

4. Acts as a building supervisor in the absence of the Director, Operations Manager or higher graded employees.

5. Seeks ongoing professional development and regularly participates in ongoing staff meetings and workshops to improve personal and professional skills.RECRUITMENT KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA):

Knowledge of Child Development regulations, procedures and process.

Ability to develop creative and innovative activity plans and special program plans.

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Ability to gather, maintain and compile pertinent data.

Ability to adjust work operations to meet emergency, changing program or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice of quantity or quality of work.

Ability to establish program objectives or performance goals of subordinates and assess progress toward their achievement.

Other significant facts pertaining to this position are:

Must provide evidence of required immunizations and complete a tuberculin skin test every three years.

Position has been identified as having regular contact with children. IAW Public Law 101-647, Section 231a, a state Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check will be completed. Must be able to successfully complete all required background checks.

Must complete additional training requirements including CPR, first aid and food handlers.

Training may be conducted on the weekends and evening hours.

May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty or rotating shifts including nights or weekends.

Must be able to lift, on a regular basis, children weighing up to 40 pounds.

This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
