Bratslavsky Consulting Engineers an engineering and construction management company is looking for a full time Construction Inspector to start immediately in Ketchikan, Alaska. This is a full time, multi-year position, candidates will be required to live in Ketchikan. Relocation assistance is available.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $128,000.00 per year DOE

Minimum Experience/Technical Requirements for Construction Inspectors
Experienced Tradesperson Inspector:
Graduated from High School
At least 10 years total experience in Construction/Facility Management, Construction Supervision, Construction Management, or Quality Control.
At least 5 years of construction oversight experience w/in the last 10 years on projects with a construction dollar value of approximately $500K-$5M (per project).
Experience with design-build, or design-bid-build contracts.
Experience as a construction superintendent, providing both supervision and QA/QC duties.
Experience with facility and building systems (building envelope, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural, etc.) as well as managing all building trades, subcontracts and construction safety.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in inspecting facilities and construction for compliance with contract requirements.
Physically, workers must be able to; climb and maintain body balance; use hands and arms fully; stand, kneel, bend, crawl, or crouch for long periods; and see well (either naturally or with correction).
Or
Engineer/Architect Inspector:
4-year Architecture/Engineering Degree
At least 5 years total experience inspecting or managing multiple construction contracts.
At least 3 years of construction oversight experience w/in the last 7 years on projects with a construction dollar value of approximately $500K-$5M (per project).
Experience with design-build, or design-bid-build contracts.
QA/QC inspector experience and knowledge of managing multi-trade construction projects.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in inspecting facilities and construction for compliance with contract requirements.
Physically, workers must be able to; climb and maintain body balance; use hands and arms fully; stand, kneel, bend, crawl, or crouch for long periods; and see well (either naturally or with correction).
